Endeavour Group (ASX:EDV) said that its chairman Ari Mervis will be appointed as the executive chairman, effective March 17, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The chief executive of the firm Steve Donohue will step down after the appointment. Mervis will be in the role for a period of up to 12 months to ensure stable leadership while a new CEO is appointed.
The firm's shares fell 4% in early trading on Friday.
