Tokyo's Core CPI Decelerates Slightly to 2.2% in February

Tokyo's core consumer prices (CPI) decelerated in February, registering a year-on-year increase of 2.2%, according to government data on Friday.

The core CPI, which excludes volatile fresh food items, was slightly lower than the 2.5% in January.

Including all items, the CPI rose 2.9% in February, slowing down from 3.4% in January.
