2月26日金融一线消息，威海商业银行今日发布公告，宣布变更公司名称，修改公司章程及更改公司标志。公告指出，有关变更公司名称及修改公司章程的决议案已在该行于2024年12月30日召开的临时股东大会上获股东批准。已取得《国家金融监督管理总局山东监管局关于威海市商业银行股份有限公司变更名称的批复》（鲁金复[2025]60号）。

　　国家金融监督管理总局山东监管局已核准该行全称变更为：“威海银行股份有限公司”（中文名称）、“WEIHAIBANKCO．，LTD．”（英文名称），简称变更为：“威海银行”（中文名称）、“WEIHAIBANK”（英文名称）；以及核准本行分支机构名称相应变更。2025年2月26日，该行已完成了公司名称在中国公司登记机关的变更登记/备案手续，并换发营业执照。

　　此外，国家金融监督管理总局山东监管局已核准该行修改公司章程，修改后的章程自2025年2月21日起生效。
