Samudera Shipping Line's Attributable Profit Jumps 45% in H2 2024

Samudera Shipping Line's (SGX:S56) profit attributable to owners of the company jumped 45% during the second half of 2024 to $50.0 million from $34.6 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

Revenue was up 12% year over year to $309.1 million from $277.0 million, mainly due to higher contribution from the Bulk & Tankers and Logistics segments.

The board declared a special cash dividend of SG$0.058 per share and a further cash dividend of SG$0.01 per share for 2024.

Shares of the company were down nearly 2% in recent trading.
