谷歌Chrome浏览器历史记录AI搜索功能走出美国，全球推广指日可待
IT之家 2 月 26 日消息，科技媒体 Windows Latest 昨日（2 月 25 日）发布博文，报道称谷歌 Chrome 浏览器的 AI 历史记录搜索功能即将走出美国，已邀请印度、澳大利亚等国家和地区的用户测试。
IT之家简要介绍下 AI 历史记录搜索功能，用户使用日常语言搜索浏览历史。现阶段该功能仅限于美国市场，且仅支持英国，需要谷歌账户且用户年龄需在 18 岁以上。
不过该功能并非完全在本地运行，Chrome 会在本地存储并加密用户访问的页面内容（开启“AI 驱动的历史记录搜索”后），用户的查询、生成的答案以及相关的页面数据也会发送到谷歌服务器进行处理，因此谷歌建议使用“高性能计算机”进行基于 AI 的搜索。
报道称在最新测试版中，谷歌邀请印度、澳大利亚等地区的 Chrome 用户进行测试，在“设置”的“实验性 AI”下出现了一个名为“AI 驱动的历史记录搜索”的开关。
开启后，CPU 和内存使用率显著上升，但功能并未实际生效，谷歌随后关闭了测试，并删除了该开关。
