Joe Longo is ready for the backlash that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s report into shifting dynamics between public and private markets is likely to generate. He even seems to relish the prospect.
“I think there are some elements of the private markets that are going to be defensive, that don’t like being questioned,” Longo says. “Well, you know what? We’re the regulator, and it’s in the public interest.”
