智通财经APP获悉，北京时间周四早间，eBay(EBAY.US)公布2024年第四季度业绩。数据显示，该公司Q4营收为26亿美元，每股收益为1.25美元，均超出市场预期。
第四季度，eBay商品交易总额(GMV)增长4%，达到193亿美元，超过市场预期的191亿美元。截至2024年底，eBay的活跃买家数量达到1.34亿，也超出市场预期。
不过，假日季的强劲表现被黯淡的前景所掩盖。
eBay预计当前季度的营收低于分析师的预期，首席执行官 Jamie Iannone将此归咎于德国和英国的需求疲软。
eBay预计，2025年第一季度营收为25.2亿至25.6亿美元，调整后每股收益为1.32至1.36美元。相比之下，分析师平均预计营收为26亿美元，每股收益为1.33美元。
Iannone表示，eBay正在重点推广翻新产品，吸引那些寻求优惠以抵消美国关税影响的购物者。他表示，这些翻新产品的销售增长速度快于新产品，目前约占该平台所有商品销售价值的40%。
他表示：“当价格上涨时，人们会寻找价值。”
为了遏制市场份额的下滑，eBay一直专注于汽车零部件、奢侈品和收藏品等小众类别。该公司本月早些时候完成了对洛杉矶初创公司Caramel的收购，后者提供二手车销售软件。eBay还依靠广告和支付来增加收入。
