星巴克拒绝透露将外包多少岗位以及外包给哪些第三方供应商。据该公司表示，一个重要的内部技术团队仍将存在，而外部人才将用于更多的日常工作。根据备忘录，技术团队将进行更广泛的重组，涉及数据和分析、工程和其他职能。
星巴克在周一宣布裁掉1100个工作岗位，并缩减菜单中30%的产品，以扭转销售额下滑的局面。这是自2018年以来，星巴克首次裁员。该公司首席执行官Brian Niccol表示，此举将提高效率、减少复杂性。
