UOL's Attributable Profit Slumps 60% in H2 2024

UOL's (SGX:U14) attributable profit declined 60% in the second half of 2024 to SG$227.8 million from SG$572.7 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Earnings per share fell to SG$0.2696 from SG$0.6778 in the comparable period. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha projected EPS of SG$0.19.

Revenue, meanwhile, jumped 16% year over year to SG$1.52 billion from SG$1.32 billion, mainly due to higher contributions across all business segments.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had estimated a revenue of SG$924.6 million.

The board proposed a first and final dividend of SG$0.18 per share for 2024.
