消息称意法半导体CEO将被免职，意大利政府不满其业绩
IT之家 2 月 25 日消息，据彭博社援引知情人士消息称，因为业绩表现不佳，意大利政府希望罢免意法半导体（STMicroelectronics）现任 CEO 让-马克・谢里（Jean-Marc Chéry）。
知情人士向彭博社透露，罗马方面认为谢里未能有效应对日益严峻的行业挑战，因此计划更换他。
此时正值意法半导体面临重大困难，该公司将 2024 年形容为数十年来行业最糟糕的一年之一。今年 1 月份，意法半导体的第一季度净收入未能达到分析师预期。据IT之家此前报道，由于需求持续低迷，意法半导体计划裁员最多 3000 人。过去 12 个月，该公司股价已下跌 37%。
知情人士称，意大利官员承认可能缺乏足够的资源来迎接新的领导者。有关此事的最终决定，预计将在罗马和巴黎之间展开讨论。
意大利财政部拒绝评论，意法半导体和法国工业部代表也未能立即作出回应。
据报道，罗马和巴黎都视意法半导体为战略性企业，这家公司于 1987 年由意大利和法国的国有芯片厂商合并而成，其客户包括苹果、特斯拉等公司。
