International Business Machines (IBM)'s anticipated acquisition of HashiCorp (HCP) has been cleared by the UK's Competition and Markets Authority, the regulatory body said on Tuesday.
This follows the CMA's launch of an inquiry in December 2024 to ensure the merger does not substantially lessen competition within any UK market. The invitation to comment closed on Jan. 16.
