Tata Power Arm Secures Contract Worth INR6.32 Billion

TP Solar, a step-down subsidiary of Tata Power Company (NSE:TATAPOWER, BOM:500400), has bagged a contract worth 6.32 billion Indian rupees from the Solar Energy Corporation of India, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The contract is for the supply of 292.5 MWp DCR (domestic content requirement) solar modules to the designated site at Ramagiri in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The project is part of SECI's larger 400 MWp tender, of which TP Solar has secured 292.5 MWp.
