智通财经APP获悉，周五，怪物饮料(MNST.US)股价走高，截至发稿，该股涨超6.5%，报55.38美元。该公司高管在公司财报电话会议上对Celsius Holdings Inc.计划以18亿美元收购Alani Nu一事发表了看法，表示这一交易不会对怪物饮料构成威胁，因为两家公司产品的市场定位存在显著差异。
怪物饮料联合首席执行官Rodney Sacks在电话会议上表示，公司旗下的健康型饮料品牌Reign和Bang的目标人群与Celsius和Alani Nu不同。例如，Reign主要面向以运动表现为核心需求的消费者，而Celsius和Alani Nu的无糖饮品则更受女性消费者青睐。
Sacks指出：“Alani Nu的确在增长，并且表现不错，但它的市场主要集中在年轻女性群体，这也是一个限制。”
另一位联合首席执行官Hilton Schlosberg也补充道：“Alani Nu目前的增长很大程度上依赖于新的分销渠道，但它终将达到分销点的上限，正如Celsius曾经历的那样。”
尽管市场竞争激烈，怪物饮料在2023年第四季度的营收依然实现了4.7%的增长，达到18.1亿美元，略高于市场分析师预测的18亿美元。不过，公司调整后的每股收益仍低于预期约5%。
