ASP Isotopes (ASPI) said Wednesday that it has started commercial production of enriched carbon-14 at a facility in Pretoria, South Africa.
The company said it expects to begin shipping the product around the middle of the year.
ASP previously said it had signed a multiyear take-or-pay contract with Canadian client RC-14, with a minimum commitment of $2.4 million a year.
ASP shares were up more than 12% in recent trading.
