智通财经APP获悉，据报道，微软(MSFT.US)正在请求特朗普政府放宽和简化一项新系统，该系统将限制美国先进的人工智能芯片向全球大部分地区的销售。
具体而言，微软将敦促特朗普团队放宽对数据中心用于训练人工智能模型的芯片的限制，使其不再适用于包括印度、瑞士和以色列在内的美国盟友。这些国家处于支撑出口管制的三级体系的第二级。
微软指出，拟议的分级体系的意外后果是，看到美国芯片供应有限的盟友将转向中国来获取所需的技术基础设施。
微软总裁布拉德·史密斯在接受采访时表示，中国正在利用拟议的规则向其他国家表明，中国将是比美国更好的人工智能基础设施长期合作伙伴。
尽管如此，史密斯也指出，微软赞成该规则的某些领域，例如一些出口许可要求，以及该系统的第三级国家将无法获取人工智能芯片。
