Vistra (VST) reported full-year 2024 net income Thursday of $2.47 billion, up from $1.34 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.24 billion.
The power generation company also posted Q4 net income of $490 million, compared with a loss of $184 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $393.6 million.
Operating revenue for the year ended Dec. 31 was $17.22 billion, up from $14.78 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $17.75 billion.
The company said it expects full-year 2025 net income of $2.31 billion to $2.78 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.28 billion.
