里昂发表报告指，部分投资者担心今年内地云端市场可能出现价格战，以及字节跳动的Volcano Engine 是否会成为触发价格战的因素。该行预计，内地云端市场短期不会出现极端价格战，因为内地所有的网络云端厂商都经历了两年的亏损或减少低利润业务。
报告指，Volcano Engine去年的减价行动是由使用率和竞争考量所共同推动。字节跳动AI策略更着重于应用程序开发，而非云端服务。除非字节跳动生态系统中云端业务的战略重要性和资金增加，否则不太可能发起价格战。
