DeepSeek reopened access to its application programming interface or API after being suspended for almost three weeks due to capacity shortages, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.
The Chinese startup is once allowing credit top-ups for API usage, though server resources will remain limited during the day, the report said, citing a company representative's statement on WeChat.
The service resumed on the same day that Alibaba Group (HKG:9988) introduced a preview of its QwQ-Max model, according to the report.
Meanwhile, ByteDance's self-developed deep reasoning model is also in the testing phase, the media outlet said, citing the TikTok parent company.
