Silk Logistics Holdings (ASX:SLH) plans to seek an adjournment from the court for a scheme meeting, previously scheduled for March 7, relating to its acquisition of DP World Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It now anticipates that the meeting will take place on March 28, subject to court orders, the filing said.

Approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board and the conclusion of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's public informal review of the scheme remain outstanding.

Implementation of the scheme is now expected to take place on April 14.

The independent expert continues to conclude that the deal is in the best interests of the firm's shareholders, according to the filing.
