2月26日，中金公司、中国银河A股均在尾盘涨停，H股均大涨超过17%。市场传闻，两家券商将合并。

当晚，中金公司、中国银河两家券商就市场并购传闻进行澄清，均表示，并未得到任何来自政府部门、监管机构或公司股东有关上述传闻的书面或口头的信息。

关于中国银河和中金公司合并的传闻已有一年多，并多次引发股价异动，但两家公司均多次否认该传闻。

早在2023年11月时，中国银河就对于中金公司合并的传闻予以了否认。中国银河上一次对此回应则是2024年11月12日。彼时，中国银河称，截至目前，公司未得到任何来自实际控制人有关上述事项的书面或口头的信息，无任何应披露而未披露的信息。
