Bank of New York Mellon (BK) has a multiyear agreement with Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI to bolster the bank's proprietary enterprise artificial-intelligence platform, Eliza, and scale AI-powered solutions across global operations.
Terms of the accord weren't disclosed.
The deal provides the bank with access to OpenAI's application programming interface and ChatGPT Enterprise platforms, as well as expert insights, the companies said Wednesday in an emailed statement to MT Newswires.
Bank of New York Mellon shares eased 0.1% in recent Wednesday trading.
