路透社休斯顿2月27日 - 美国能源信息署的数据显示，2024年前11个月，美国从委内瑞拉进口的原油平均为22.2万桶/日(bpd)，成为美国第四大原油供应国。
根据 EIA 的数据，虽然委内瑞拉石油只占美国 11 月份原油进口总量的 3.5%，但却占美国墨西哥湾沿岸炼油厂进口原油的 13%。
数据显示，去年来自委内瑞拉的原油约有90%运往美国墨西哥湾沿岸，其余10%运往东海岸。
炼油厂瓦莱罗能源VLO.N是这一时期委内瑞拉原油在美国的最大买家，占总量的44%，其次是石油巨头雪佛龙CVX.N，占22%。PBF Energy PBF.N购买了约14%的原油。
