Ramsay Healthcare (ASX:RHC) reported Thursday a loss per diluted share in the fiscal first half of AU$0.495, compared with earnings of AU$3.28 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of AU$0.29.
Total revenue and other income for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$8.59 billion, up from AU$8.16 billion in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$8.54 billion.
The healthcare facility operator expects activity growth in each region in fiscal 2025 but at a lower rate than in fiscal 2024.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.40 per share, unchanged from the payout in the previously reported period, payable on March 27 to shareholders on record as of March 7.
