Equinox Resources (ASX:EQN) said drilling results from the Mata da Corda rare earth elements project in Brazil confirmed widespread titanium oxide mineralization across the Pindaibas, Patos, and Olegario prospects, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Intercepts from the drilling include 47 meters at 12.8% grade of titanium oxide from the surface, including 32 meters at 14.5% grade of titanium oxide from 15 meters, ending in mineralization at 13.9% grade of titanium oxide.
Drilling results also include high-grade rare earth elements results, including 36 meters at 2,682 parts per million total rare earth oxides, with 24% magnet rare earth oxides, from the surface, including 14 meters at 4,540 ppm total rare earth oxides.
A maiden mineral resource estimate at the project is targeted in the first half of the year, the filing said.
