Bath & Body Works 1Q Outlook Threatened by Tariffs -- Market Talk

1618 ET - Bath & Body Works executives said they factored China tariffs into 2025 guidance, but didn't include possible taxes on Mexican and Canadian imports. About 10% of the retailer's supply comes from China, while Mexico and Canada make up 7% combined and split relatively evenly, CEO Gina Boswell told investors. Bath & Body Works does business as well as production in Canada. Analysts said investors were keyed into what kind of color execs would share about 1Q sales outlook, which was lower than expected, and Boswell said January sales were a lighter than in 4Q.
