2月26日晚，针对合并传闻，中金公司、中国银河证券发布公告澄清。

中金公司表示，截至公告披露日，公司未得到任何来自政府部门、监管机构或公司股东有关上述传闻的书面或口头的信息。经公司与控股股东中央汇金投资有限责任公司确认，控股股东不存在筹划上述传闻所称事项或其他涉及公司的应披露而未披露的重大事项，公司亦无应披露而未披露的信息。

中国银河证券表示，截至公告披露日，公司未得到任何来自于政府部门、监管机构或公司控股股东、实际控制人有关上述传闻的书面或口头的信息。经公司与控股股东中国银河金融控股有限责任公司及实际控制人中央汇金投资有限责任公司确认，控股股东及实际控制人不存在筹划上述传闻所称事项或其他涉及公司的应披露而未披露的重大事项，公司亦无应披露而未披露的信息。

数据显示，截至2月26日收盘，A股中金公司、中国银河双双涨停。两家券商股价在港股也获较大涨幅。港股市场上，中金公司、中国银河分别上涨19.09%、17.11%。
