Trimble (TRMB) is combining its positioning engine technology with STMicroelectronics (STM) chipsets for the automotive and Internet of Things industries, Trimble said Monday.
Precisely, Trimble's ProPoint Go and STMicroelectronics' Teseo VI GNSS chipsets will ensure positioning accurate to the "centimeter-level," and will also provide reliable velocities and time.
The combination will be applicable for automotive navigation, advanced driver-assistance systems, cellular vehicle-to-everything, field robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles.
