华为完成FDD三频Massive MIMO全球首商用 网速暴增252%
快科技3月1日消息，近日，尼日利亚运营商MTN与华为成功合作，完成了全球首个FDD三频Massive MIMO（1.8GHz + 2.1GHz + 2.6GHz）站点的商用部署。
该方案在现网开通后，LTE流量激增90%，忙时用户体验速率相较于改造前LTE 4T4R(1.8GHz 、2.1GHz 、2.6GHz)提升了252%。
据了解，尼日利亚是非洲人口最多的国家，近两年来，随着2/3G用户快速向4G迁移以及新业务的不断发展，尼日利亚MTN网络流量需求增长了两倍，站点平均PRB(physical resource block)占有率高达60%，部分热点区域达到90%以上。
为了解决这一网络痛点，尼日利亚MTN和华为联合创新，规模部署了单频FDD Massive MIMO，并成功开通了全球首个FDD Massive MIMO六扇区站点，显著提升了网络频谱效率和容量。
该方案不仅能实现下行LTE容量提升3至4倍，如果演进至NR，相对于LTE 4T4R，容量增益更将高达7倍。
