-Intel is delaying a $28 billion semiconductor project in central Ohio, The Columbus Dispatch reported Friday.
-Intel said its factory in Licking County will not be completed until 2030, with operations beginning that year or in 2031; it was originally planned to start operating in 2025.
-The chipmaker is slowing construction at the site to align operations with demand and manage capital, it said.
-Intel could not immediately be reached for comment Friday morning.
