Japfa's Attributable Profit Soars 172% in H2 2024

Japfa's (SGX:UD2) attributable profit to owners surged 172% during the second half of 2024 to $61.9 million from $22.8 million a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Earnings per share rose to $0.0314 compared with $0.0112 in the comparable period.

Revenue was up 2% year over year to $2.37 billion from $2.31 billion, due to strong performances from the animal protein business.

The company proposed a final dividend of SG$0.01 per share for 2024, in addition to an interim dividend of SG$0.01 per share declared in October 2024.
