US State Dept okays potential sale of munitions to Israel for estimated $2.7 bln

WASHINGTON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of munitions, guidance kits, and munitions support to Israel in two packages worth an estimated $2.7 billion, the Pentagon said in a statement on Friday.

The principal contractors for one package be Repkon USA and Boeing Co, while the prime contractors for the second package includes General Dynamics, the Pentagon said.
