Alphabet's (GOOG) Google plans to cut staff in both its human resources and cloud divisions as part of internal restructuring, CNBC reported Thursday, citing company memos.
The company will offer a voluntary exit program for full-time HR employees based in the US starting in early March, the report said, citing a memo issued Tuesday by HR chief Fiona Cicconi.
In the cloud unit, the company made cuts to several teams, mostly affecting operations support staff, with some roles moving to India and Mexico, the report said.
Google didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
