Computershare Completes Acquisition of Financial Services Firm

Computershare (ASX:CPU) completed the acquisition of BNY Trust Company of Canada from The Bank of New York Mellon for a total of $63.4 million, funded through the company's existing cash and debt capacity, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The completion of the acquisition is not anticipated to materially impact the company's earnings for the remainder of the fiscal year, the filing said.
