Skype时代终结！微软宣布5月停止服务
快科技3月1日消息，据用户发现，最新版的Skype for Windows预览版本中发布了一则重要通知：从今年5月开始，Skype将停止提供服务，用户被建议转至微软的另一款通信工具Teams继续进行通话和聊天功能。
此外，该应用还附带说明，指出部分用户已经迁移到了免费的Teams平台。
据了解，Skype自2003年推出以来，于2011年被微软收购，并逐渐成为其即时通讯工具的重要组成部分。
2015年，Skype更是被深度整合进Windows 10系统，成为微软生态系统中的核心通信应用。
然而，近年来Skype的表现并未完全达到微软的预期。市场份额受到苹果FaceTime、谷歌通信工具等竞争对手的挤压，用户增长乏力；
此外，Skype在用户体验方面也存在连接不稳定、界面复杂等问题，影响了用户的使用满意度。
2017年，微软推出了基于Skype技术构建的协作平台Teams，以与Slack等同类产品竞争。此后，微软持续加大对Teams的推广力度。
到了2021年，随着Windows 11的发布，Teams被作为核心通信工具集成到新系统中，取代了Skype在微软生态系统中的地位。
这一举措也预示着Skype时代的落幕，以及Teams新时代的开启。
