当地时间3月1日，总台记者从土耳其国家电视台（TRT）获悉，库尔德工人党（PKK）发表声明，称将遵守其领导人阿卜杜拉·厄贾兰日前发表“弃武”声明的呼吁，宣布停火。

2月27日，现年75岁的厄贾兰通过探监的土耳其官员向外界发表个人声明，要求库尔德工人党成员放下武器、自行解散。

厄贾兰是库尔德工人党的创始人。该组织在过去40多年间与土耳其政府多次爆发武装冲突，已造成数万人丧生。近期，在土耳其执政党盟友、民族行动党领导人的支持下，人民平等与民主党多次与厄贾兰接触，持续释放和解信号。

库尔德工人党成立于1979年，寻求通过武力在土耳其与伊拉克、伊朗和叙利亚交界处的库尔德人聚居区建立独立国家，被土耳其列为恐怖组织。厄贾兰1999年被判终身监禁，关押在伊斯坦布尔附近的伊姆拉勒岛上。土耳其政府2012年曾与厄贾兰进行接触，开启推进解决库尔德问题的“和平进程”谈判，但后来中断。（总台记者 陈慧慧）
