微软将关闭

运营了21年的通话和消息服务Skype。

3月1日，微软正式宣布将关闭Skype，这款基于互联网的语音和视频通话服务，曾是2000年代中期最流行的远程沟通工具。

微软确认，Skype将从今年5月起“停止服务”。该公司还表示，用户的登录信息将在“未来几天”内可用于Microsoft Teams的免费版本。

Skype于2003年在爱沙尼亚推出，并迅速流行，成为用户免费拨打全球电话的热门工具。在国际通话仍然昂贵的时代，这一优势尤为突出。其迅猛发展吸引了eBay，其于2005年以26亿美元收购Skype。然而，这一合作并未取得成功，eBay在2009年以19亿美元的价格将其65%的股份出售给了一个投资者集团。最终，微软于2011年收购了Skype。

根据微软发布的一篇博文，在接下来的几天里，微软将允许用户使用Skype账号登录Teams，Skype的联系人和聊天记录也将自动迁移。此外，用户还可以导出Skype数据。微软将停止销售Skype的月度订阅，而拥有Skype余额的用户仍可在Teams中继续使用。

微软之所以关闭Skype，是为了将资源集中在Teams的新功能开发上，包括人工智能（AI）工具。微软曾表示，2016年Skype的月活跃用户超过3亿户，但截至2023年，其日活跃用户已缩减至3600万户。
