Solar Defence and Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solar Industries India (NSE:SOLARINDS, BOM:532725), has secured a contract worth 2.39 billion Indian rupees from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The contract is for the supply of multi mode hand grenade, to be delivered over a period of one year.
Shares of the company were up over 1% in recent trade.
