Alset International (SGX:40V) is set to initiate its foray into the robotics sector through its 37%-owned associated company, Alset Robot, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday.
The associated company is now aiming to establish partnerships and collaborations with industry peers.
Meanwhile, wholly owned subsidiary, HWH International and indirect associate company, Hapi iRobot, have entered into a distribution agreement with Guangzhou Inbot Technology.
Under the business transformation initiative, the company will be geared towards service robots, humanoid robots and companion robots.
