WiseTech Global to Acquire Colombian Logistics Technology Business for Undisclosed Sum

WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC) agreed to acquire Opentecnologia, subject to certain conditions, to expand the global customs capabilities of its logistics execution software CargoWise in Latin America, the company said in a statement Monday.

The Colombia-based software company enables importers and exporters to meet their customs, tax, and fiscal obligations through its platforms and is authorized to provide electronic document interoperability within the country's invoicing ecosystem, per the statement.

Opentecnologia's operations will be integrated into WiseTech Global, maintaining direct customer relationships while gradually offering additional CargoWise solutions, the company said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
