Interpublic Group (IPG) early Monday is selling its R/GA creative agency in New York to private equity investors Truelink Capital, in move intended to focus the company on its core advertising and marketing business, Interpublic said on Monday.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
R/GA clients reportedly include Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google unit, Samsung, Moncler, TurboTax, Nike (NKE) and Eli Lilly (LLY).
Interpublic Dec. 9 agreed to a $13.2 billion, all-stock buyout offer from rival ad shop Omnicom (OMC), which is offering 0.344 of a share for each Interpublic share. That deal is expected to close during the second half of 2025, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals among other conditions.
