Gorilla Technology Group (GRRR, GRRRW) said Monday it signed a $1.8 billion agreement to lead a 15-year project to modernize Thailand's power grid using artificial intelligence.
The software developer said the project will use a performance-based financial model rather than traditional milestone payments, aligning funding with efficiency improvements and cost savings.
Gorilla said it expects revenue to scale from 2026-2027 as the system becomes fully operational, with long-term revenue generated over the project's lifespan.
Shares of the company were up more than 27% in recent Monday premarket activity.
