Kroger announced Monday that its Chief Executive Officer Rodney McMullen has resigned from the company.
McMullen's resignation follows "a Board investigation of his personal conduct that, while unrelated to the business, was inconsistent with Kroger's Policy on Business Ethics," the grocery store chain said in a press release.
The stock fell 0.9% in premarket trading Monday.
