HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KRX:009540) secured an order worth 458.8 billion won to build two very large ethane carriers (VLECs) for an unnamed Asia-based shipping company.
The order is expected to be delivered by Dec. 31, 2028.
Shares of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering jumped more than 10% at market close on Tuesday.
