RFK's Op-Ed Should Give Biotech Hope -- Market Talk

1421 ET - Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s latest op-ed on vaccines should give biotechnology companies some hope, Mizuho analysts say. The Secretary of Health and Human Services said in a Sunday opinion piece for Fox News that the latest measles outbreak is a call to action to vaccinate children, which HHS will help facilitate. RFK's pivot to supporting vaccines may mean companies like Vaxcyte that produce them will fare better than investors had worried. Vaxcyte's stock is down 20% over the past three months, primarily driven by political concerns, analysts say. "We continue to believe macro concerns dissipate," analysts said.
