智通财经APP获悉，力拓集团(RIO.US)周一宣布，其位于西澳大利亚皮尔巴拉地区丹皮尔港东互通岛(East Intercourse Island)的设施已恢复运营。此前，由于热带气旋引发洪水，该设施已停产五周多。
当热带气旋“肖恩”给皮尔巴拉部分海岸线带来创纪录的降雨时，东互通岛港口设施的一列火车车厢翻车机被洪水淹没。力拓表示，上周东互通岛的翻车机作业已恢复，并且第一艘货船已完成装货。
力拓在其全年业绩报告中曾表示，由于袭击澳大利亚西海岸并扰乱运输的热带气旋，预计将损失1300万吨铁矿石，但仍维持皮尔巴拉地区铁矿石发运量在3.23亿 - 3.38亿吨的预期。
加拿大皇家银行(RBC)分析师卡恩·佩克(Kaan Peker)表示：“此次停产的规模表明，他们不太可能达到预期发运量的中间值。”
