Ballard Power Systems Receives Order for 50 Fuel Cell Engines

Ballard Power Systems said Tuesday that it will supply a commercial vehicle manufacturer in Egypt with hydrogen fuel cells for the bus market.

The Canadian fuel-cell company said that it has signed a multi-year supply agreement from Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles for fuel cell engines totaling five megawatts.

The supply agreement is for 50 FCmove-HD+ engines, with an initial order of 35 units, which are expected to be delivered this year and next, and will serve in the EU market.
