华尔街恐慌指数周一跳涨，此前美国总统特朗普证实，对加拿大和墨西哥加征的关税将生效。芝加哥期权交易所波动率指数（Cboe Volatility Index， 简称VIX）周一攀升至22.78点。这是该指数自美联储去年12月会议后一天以来的最高收盘点位；当时，美联储对利率的观望立场引发了股市抛售。

　　交易员还纷纷购入了如果VIX继续上涨就会获利的期权合约。Cboe Global Markets的数据显示，最近几天，一些交易最活跃的VIX期权合约是与该指数升至30点和33点挂钩的看涨期权。看涨期权赋予了持有人在设定日期前以特定价格购买股票的权利。不过，VIX仍远低于市场高度紧张时期的高点。在去年8月份全球市场暴跌期间，VIX曾收于60点上方。
