日元在早盘交易中兑其他多数G10货币和亚洲货币略微走强，此前美国总统唐纳德· 特朗普表示，日本让本币贬值，对美国不利。此外，因美国总统特朗普确认加征关税，引发避险情绪，这通常会增强日元作为避险货币的吸引力。特朗普周一表示，无论墨西哥还是加拿大，均“没有空间”在午夜前达成协议，意味着针对这两个国家的输美商品征收25%的关税将于周二生效。“市场反应如预期般糟糕，因为这意味着特朗普也更有可能兑现承诺，很快对其他个别国家采取对等关税行动”，凯投宏观首席北美经济学家Paul Ashworth在评论中表示。美元兑日元跌至148.99日元，为2月27日以来最低；澳元兑日元下跌0.2%，至92.86日元；欧元兑日元下跌0.1%，至156.61日元。
