吴说获悉，据信报，Coinbase 正考虑扩展亚太市场，其亚太区董事总经理兼驻澳洲总监 John O‘Loghlen 表示，Coinbase 在香港为本地 ETF 做一些托管工作，也正与汇丰银行商谈 ETF 次托管（sub-custodian）计划。但香港监管框架要求本地托管、本地做市商，以及在本地匹配流动性，直言对国际平台是绊脚石，意味着要改变整个交易平台的技术组合。目前 Coinbase 不打算只为香港这样做，正在等待法规进一步发展。
