消息面上，2024年以来，大唐新能源获长城人寿多次增持，根据最新披露资料显示，2月21日长城人寿再次增持公司股份300万股，持股比例上升至13.11%。此外，2月14日，宁泉资产增持大唐新能源472.1万股H股股份，持仓比例上升至10.07%。分析人士指出，险资需要保持投资风格的稳健性，险企有望进一步增持具有高分红、高资本增值潜力、高ROE属性上市企业。
兴业证券近期指出，大唐新能源为大唐集团旗下绿电上市平台，以风电运营为主，公司具有收购集团绿电资产的选择权与优先权。该行指出，公司资产集中于优质风资源区，“以大代小”提质增效；集团未上市资源充足，公司项目建设加速；派息比例具有提升空间，首次中期分红股息率可观，获险资举牌；利好政策预期包括东北绿电辅助服务费用减少及国补回收。
